News: How To Rent a Recreation Room (Bay or Coral Room) at Coral Reef Park

The Coral Reef Park Recreation Center has two rooms available for private rental — the Bay Room and the Coral Room. These are perfect for birthday parties, baby showers, meetings, and other private events. Follow the steps below to submit your rental request.
Step 1: Log In to Your Account Go to palmettobayfl.myrec.com and click "Log In" in the top menu. Enter your email and password. If you don't have an account yet, click "Create Account" and follow the prompts to set one up first.
Step 2: Go to Rentals From the main menu, click "Rentals" then "Facility List." You will see a list of all available facilities at Coral Reef Park.
Step 3: Select Your Room Click on either the Bay Room or Coral Room to view availability. Both rooms are full-size rooms with the same pricing and rules.
Step 4: Check Availability Use the calendar to browse available dates. Only one rental party is allowed per room per day, so if a date is already booked it will not be available.
Step 5: Submit Your Request Select your preferred date and rental duration, then submit your rental request. Rentals have a 3-hour minimum and 8-hour maximum.
Please note: This is a request, not a confirmed reservation. Our Parks & Recreation staff will review your request and follow up with you to confirm availability, finalize the details, and process your payment including the required security deposit.
Step 6: Wait for Confirmation You will receive a follow-up from our staff, typically within 1–2 business days. Once your request is approved, staff will create your reservation including the deposit and any add-ons (such as Tables & Chairs). You will then receive an invoice that you can view and pay online through your account.
Step 7: Payment and Permit Log into your account to view your invoice and pay the balance by credit card. After payment is received, your rental permit will be emailed to you automatically. Save this for your records.
Room Rental Fees
Base Rate (3-hour minimum) — $581.50 (includes $100.00 refundable security deposit) Each Additional Hour — $80.25 Tables & Chairs Add-On (15 tables, 100 chairs) — $80.25
All fees include 7% sales tax. The $100.00 security deposit is refundable pending a satisfactory post-event inspection. Let staff know when submitting your request if you would like to add Tables & Chairs.
Rental Hours Weekdays: 9:00 AM – 8:00 PM Weekends: 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Senior Discount Residents age 65 and older may be eligible for a 10% discount. Contact the Parks & Recreation Department to have the discount applied to your account before booking.
